July 6, 2005
Greater Hartford Campus
Present: Edna McBreen, Bill Pizzuto, Mike Menard, David Williams, Tessie Naranjo, Nadine Brennan, Angela Brightly, Melissa Clark , Judy DiLaurenzio , Dana Forchette, Sheila Harris, Sheila Lafferty, Christine Mosman, Victor Schiavi, Patty Toupin, Bill Uricchio.

Doctoral candidate Christine Thatcher was introduced by Edna.
Christine who is writing her dissertation on changes resulting from the initiation of Tri-Campus observed this meeting.
Sheila Harris, Victor Schiavi, Nadine Brennan, Dana Forchette and Angela Brightly presented Status Reports to the Leadership Team.

IT Status Report:
Andy Bridges is currently being trained one day per week at the Waterbury Campus by Dave Steele
Voiceover IP (Internet Based Phone Service) didn't pass
Information security is becoming a priority and can't be ignored
Adjuncts need to familiarize themselves with Web CT, maybe it could be introduced as part of orientation. Sheila Harris noted that if their paperwork hasn't been processed they cannot access the system

Advising/Retention Status Report:
All need to be involved in the Tri-Campus initiative and embrace the idea of three campuses working together as a cohesive unit
She will come up with a “cheat sheet” so that anyone receiving an inquiry will know exactly where to direct the caller
The schedules for the August 26 th Kickoff Rallies to be held at each campus are in the process of being formalized
NAKADA conference will take place March 6, 2006 in Hartford

Admissions/Recruitment Status Report:
177 students have deposited for the Fall '05 semester at regional campuses (limited to 200 per Deb Rice of Storrs Enrollment Management Team)
She asked that more variety of classes be offered in Torrington
Dana will meet with Nadine to come up with a master plan of dates for orientations, open houses, etc. so this information can go on the website. More representation by Urban & Community Studies needed at open houses

Scheduling Status Report:
Discussion of the ASTRA scheduling software, used for scheduling classes and also for scheduling conference rooms. Angela Brightly will provide information on the conference in Kansas City.
